Hiring process

Here's a brief overview of how we hire at SUPA. We prioritise the best fit for our team so we're pretty thorough about who and how we hire.

Note: Our hiring process typically takes between 2-3 weeks. This timeframe could be shorter/longer depending on your availability as well as our capacity.

Step 1: Apply

Search and apply for available roles. Our POps (PeopleOps!) team will review and be in touch with qualified candidates.

Step 2: Take an assessment

This take-home challenge varies depending on the department you're applying to. In general, this is for us to assess your potential and ability to meet the requirements of the role.

Step 3: Get to know us

Jump on a video call to learn more about us. This is your opportunity to explore/determine if the role meets your expectations and whether SUPA is the right fit for you.

Step 4: Department interview

Get to know your future teammates. During this round, we will evaluate your technical skillset, depth of experience, and work style to see whether you would be a good fit for the department.

Step 5: Technical interview

Let's put your technical skills to the test! The interview will vary depending on the role and team you're applying to. You will be sent more information on how to prepare prior to the call.

Step 6: Culture interview

Meet SUPA people from other teams! You'll be asked questions about your values, how you communicate in different situations, your hobbies and other interests. Most important tip: be yourself!

Step 7: Receive an offer!

Succesful applicants will be invited to meet everyone at the office (since our interviews are virtual) so you can get a feel of SUPA HQ. We’ll have a 2-way discussion on the details of your offer and answer any questions you might have.

Can I request for a fully-remote position?

Fully remote roles are available depending on the role you’re applying for. Please check the job description for this information. In general, we have a hybrid system of 3 remote/WFH days and 2 in-person office days.

Where is your office?

We're currently located at Penthouse 16, Common Ground Damansara Heights – right next to Semantan MRT.

If I am unsuccessful, can I reapply again?

We encourage candidates to work on the feedback we've given them following an unsuccessful round of interviews with us. Our team will be happy to review a new application after six months.

I applied for a role but didn't hear back. Should I reapply?

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. We encourage all applicants to reapply again in six months if you do see a role that fits what you're looking for.

What is the salary range for the position I'm applying for?

We invite candidates to share their salary expectations with us at the beginning of the hiring process. Successful candidates will then have the opportunity to discuss salary and benefits once an offer has been made.
